Causeway Bay Hong Kong Restaurant

went to this restaurant with my family for lunch recently. it can be said quite a new restaurant cause it's opened only one or two months ago. there were so many people.. for the past three times i've been there, still there's a lot of customers. this restaurant belongs to the Lok Thian tauke... really arr.. this tauke is very innovative. he just brings in restaurants of different styles. there's hong kong style, shanghai style, japanese style, thai style and even the new one... indonesian style.

the entrance of the restaurant. this man just spoils the picture... he knew i was taking photo but he still walk past. look at the chairs in front. the tauke knew that this restaurant would be a great success so he provided "sit only" chairs for the customers to sit while waiting for the real "sit and eat" space.

getting to feel being in Hong Kong... but actually cannot larr...

people mountain people ocean... all enjoying their meal

this restaurant has got the modern design... really attracts people.

see all the food posters!!! and the lighting.

we ordered many types of food...

drinks first... we ordered jasmine tea and coffee. coffee was normal but the jasmine tea is unique!!

this is the most unique serving i've ever seen. made me felt like a frog..

then to the main courses...

mushroom chicken mee... quite big portion

hong kong style ham chicken porride with century egg.. NICE!! ordered two portions of this

third one

hot pan sizzling chicken noodle with black pepper sauce..

and last...

baked fish fillet rice with cheese... i like this most...ordered this everytime i come

we also ordered a few side dishes...

their famous dim sum.. siew bee and...

char siew bau... soft and fluffy when hot but when cold, harder than grade A brick... just joking!! i pretty much liked the bau.. eaten four out of the six we ordered.

besides char siew bau, we also ordered char siew puff..

didn't get to eat this cuz it's my mum's favourite... eaten zero out of six... sixkening

lastly and i mean to be the very last....

sago tart. this... i have no comment... i like it but my mom dislikes it.. it's delicious but difficult to eat. the sago drops out from it's cup.

anyway, i like the food there... should give it a 69.5% rating.. and the service also ok... at least no sour papayas. all together, everything cost my dad around 70 bucks..
