Overnight Santubong Trip

This was for the first time in my life, I've gone for an overnight trip with friends. It's with my high school friends, friends whom I've known for more than 15 years.

I think i'm good at camwhoring... the picture is exactly horizontal... hmmm..

It was indeed a trip filled with excitement and lots and lots of fun. The weather was perfect... No rain for the whole day. It only rained the next day, after everyone reached home. It just simply meant that we were meant to have fun during that trip..

The very first activity after check in... To the pool!!! And we play "Jadi" in the pool... back to childhood life.

then of course, we headed to the beach... Red Flag... but we still go... That's the purpose.. Otherwise, I'd rather have a trip to Hilton if we were to only stay in the hotel.

Luckily we went to Santubong instead of Damai. In Damai, it was reported that there were two deaths (drowned in the sea). And it occured at 3 something, which was the time when we were also playing at the beach... but in Santubong.... Thank God!! and of course, we were the more mature people. We know it's monsoon season, so we didn't go too far.

At night, dinner was at Buntal... another must do thing if we go to the beach.. It's all about the beaches and the sea, so we had seafood...

the food was ok.. but the service sucks!! 3 dishes arrived, but we had no rice... there were just too many people.. and it's quite expensive...

after that, we headed to a public beach.. Pantai Puteri... there was nothing... not even light... just darkness at the beach, so we did nothing...

At the beach, we saw a flare shot into the sky from the peak of the Santubong mountain... unsure whether it was a call for help or not, we headed to the police station to make a report.. At least we did something good.

We headed back to the hotel and started the drinking card game...For the first time in my life, I've finished one can of beer.... and a shot of Barcardi with Coke...

Still, I don't like drinking.... Only draik for the sake of the game.. =D

YAHOO!!! Luckily I did join the trip... It was really last minute.. only agreed to go one hour before we depart...
