I'm in Melbourne!!!

finally after all the tedious applications for everythin... i've reached Melbourne.
for a person who comes from a small city, Melbourne is definitely huge for me... and everything here is different... i'm felt like a frog which finally came out from its coconut shell..

trains are the most reliable public transport... can buy a daily ticket for $9.50 and go anywhere within the zone anytime within the day as much as u want... currently applying for the concession card... which means i'm getting half-price as an exchange student...

the train station at Southern Cross.... it's the main one i think..

melbourne has lots of graffiti on the walls... and some are really nice...creative people i think

found in the city

got this picture near uni

graffiti on the bus stop roof...

the first Malaysian car i saw in Melbourne... not bad eih...

the nature here is really serene .. these are called creek i think

currently living at Scott's house in Melton...it's really nice... and the parents are really friendly

found this in Scott's room... back home... we only have flat kind of puzzles but look at this... it's 3D..

and Scott's family dog... it's named Chelsea... a female dog which likes to jump on me...lol

well...on the second day...tried to go to Swinburne myself for the welcoming but took the wrong train... lol.. i managed to reach swinburne in the end but i was late... and so... i wandered around the Glenferrie area....

everything is new to me so i was like "long ki long lok"

after that i took the train to Melbourne Central... the city...haa..just so different... everyone is just so fast... and there were so many people mostly wearing blazers.. almost like the ones shown in the tv..

now there's no car to drive so every destination i go depend entirely on public transports.... especially trains... getting used to the trains already

anyway... this is my very first self bought lunch in Melbourne... at Hungry Jack's..din know where to eat... so i had some fast food... cost me $4.60... haih...

cheeseburger

and some fries..

and my second lunch...at Viet Star... Asean food... cost $7.50 but the portion is really big... and for a really great eater to say this... it means really big... i actually got very full.

it's called the Broken Rice... dun understand why... just know how to eat

**this is just the start in Melbourne... more stuff to come... forgot to bring a camera... so i have to depend entirely on my 1.3 megapixel phone camera...**

Chef @ Home in Kenny Sia's List

i've seen Kenny Sia going to Chef @ Home a few times... and it's now in his list as the BEST PLACE FOR CASUAL DINING... dun play play orr..

a humble person i should say (although he's like damn famous in Kuching) who drives a car that makes some funny eeee..eeee sound when reversing..

i think it should be around 3 times i saw him at our place... the first time he came was pretty late at night already.. around 10p.m .. halfway cleaning up already when he came with his girlfriend... so apparently the service wasn't that good.. it's like once the food and drinks served it will be like 'u eat urs and we clean ours'. he din order much though.. maybe he knew we were closing..

the second time was earlier.. around 9 i think... this time for drink he ordered a coffee latte shake... hahaa... dun know what he feels about the drink... i dun like coffee so i've never tasted the drink myself.. only make..

then the third time he came... even earlier.. around 8 something.. but this time wif a camera... haaa.. i knew what was going to happen... ordered the mocktail called Malaysian Sunrise and Michael Jackson. i tried to make the drinks as nice and as good looking as possible..

michael jackson... why called michael jackson... before surgery he's black and after surgery, he's whiter than anyone in the world...

the most ma huan drink to make and unfortunately for me, he ordered it..see the white layer on top..it's actually fine bubbles or should i say edible foam.. the sprite used to make the bubble cannot be too cold.. otherwise no bubble. and then cannot be too warm. it's a cold drink but has no ice in it... some more.. the sprite has to be newly opened so that there's sufficient gas from the drink..

then malaysian sunrise.. see the colour already know... there's also a drawing on top of the drink... haha i always had fun drawing on this drink...

HAHA... i'm pretty proud to have become a bartender there...

*stole the pictures from his website.. hehe

Even Swinburne is not Safe

How safe do u think is Swinburne... it is a private university surrounded with fence and has more than ten guards within the campus...

but still it's not safe even for our cars....

nowadays thieves are just able to steal anything they wan... recently in uni, a car's wheel was stolen rite in front of Chillipeppers... haih... what else do they want?? i have lots of toy cars.. if they want wheels, can ask from me!!

the unlucky perdana

pity the owner...not only he lost one expensive rim.. but because of that he cant go home...

on that day itself, my own car broke down too.. it has got something to do with the wheel too.. one of the back wheel couldn't turn...weird but funny. there were not enough brake fluid due to leakage...

i thought i was unlucky but when i saw the Perdana opposite me, i actually thanked God... haha...

Believe it or not... the wheel of the perdana was stolen right in front of a guard's eyes... he's a guard around my age...

he said he saw two men in smart clothes (ties and everything ) taking out the tyre.. he thought they were the owner of the car trying to change the tyre due to puncture or something so he didn't bother... but in the end it turned out to be a theft.. Haihh...

So in conclusion.. NEVER judge anyone by their looks... nowadays ties and blazers are so cheap even beggars could by them..

and also NEVER make ur wheels too attractive..
